My second album is comprised mostly of songs where I was trying my hand at a variety of musical genres that I have loved throughout my life. Most of these songs were written with a specific rhythm and beat in mind - in other words - picking a style of music that I love and then writing some lyrics to fit it's vibe.

SIERRA SKIES - My attempt at trying to create a Grateful Dead style vibe. I don't think it worked as I had hoped, but I did create a rockin' song that honors Nature and its effects on us.
NOTHING TO PROVE - A classic Rock 'n Roll song, but about being totally okay about being older and done with work!
OLD MAN BLUES - A humorous look at the other side of the coin from "Nothing to Prove".
CHASING SHADOWS - Ever wanted to disappear and live life as somebody else - at least for one night?
IN ANOTHER TIME - An homage to the soaring guitars and optimism of Carlos Santana.
IN THE YEAR 2525 - This song is based on my idea for a film - a time traveler ending up in a Utopian Earth - and it only took him 500 years!
SITTING ON THE FENCE - A song about deciding how to spend your Golden Years - settle down in comfort, or keep the adventures coming?
THE GLOOM OF JUNE -For those of us that feel the effects of grey skies, sometimes turning us blue inside.
THE UNKNOWABLE TRUTH - my homage to Jethro Tull, with lyrics that celebrate the beauty of not understanding our amazing Universe.
WHAT GOES AROUND, COMES AROUND - I've always loved the etheral sounds of the Beatles "Within You, Without You", and this is a song in that vein.
EVERYBODY'S RIGHT! RIGHT? - I wanted to try and create a Talking Heads style song, but didn't really get there. But got something fun and funky instead. And used this song to talk about our divided society.
ADIOS KING DONALD - A slighly humourous song that could have been the song that Bad Bunny didn't sing at the 2026 Super Bowl.
I MADE IT TO THE FUTURE - my nod to bands like Devo and other New Wave artists, and talking about how I've lived long enough to now be living in my future.
THE COSMIC NUDGE - I wrote this song with some inspiration from my daughter Chelsea - in a style similar to Stevie Wonder and Earth, Wind & Fire.
LET'S HAVE A PARADE - I've always loved Zydeco music, and the celebratory spirit of the people of New Orleans. "You don't need to know somebody's name, to make 'em feel like they belong!"
THE VERY BEST DAYS - Another Rock 'n Roll tribute to the more "edgy" good old days. My old friends know what I'm talking about!
THE PROMISE OF AMERICA - In honor of America's 250th Birthday, a celebration of what we stand for, and a reminder that we can lose our freedoms if we are constantly vigilant.
